With the advent of Customer Success in the last 5 years, a new executive position has swiftly become more prevalent – the Chief Customer Officer. These C-Suite’ers represent the voice of the customer, and take their feedback into consideration when advocating on behalf of customer-facing teams. Oftentimes, sub-organizations that don’t touch revenue directly have a hard time convincing the board of the merit of investment, but with the CCO in office, there’s a representative to highlight the improvements made with their efforts.
